Series of Cars Damaged Overnight
Several vehicles along Forest Avenue were left with scratch marks from May 30-31.

Five cars parked in the 1700 block of Forest Avenue overnight Monday were scratched apparently with a key and several of the owners complained of doorbell harassment that night, according to Wilmette police reports.
The following is a list of the incidents:
- A 2008 Hybrid was vandalized in the 1700 block of Forest Avenue. The car was parked in the driveway at 8 p.m. Monday and discovered to be damaged on the driver's side at 8 a.m. Tuesday. The car was scratched from the front headlight to the rear panel.
- A 2008 Toyota Highlander was damaged as well overnight Monday. Authorities were unable to reach the registered owner.
- A 2008 Acura MDX and a 2003 Jeep Wrangler belonging to a resident in the 1700 block of Forest Avenue were among the reported damaged vehicles. The residents also told police that their doorbell was rung repeatedly around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
- A black Audi and silver Acura belonging to residents in the 1700 block of Forest Avenue were vandalized. The couple also indicated that their doorbell was run repeatedly about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
