Sexual Assault Charge For Wilmette Man
The 48-year-old local man is alleged to have sex with a woman who was passed out.
A Wilmette man has been charged with criminal sexual assault in relation to an alleged incident last week at his Greenleaf Ave. residence.
According to Wilmette police, the victim - a Northbrook woman - had been drinking at a party in Chicago on September 14 and requested Tariq Mahmood Rashid, 48 drive her home. But the victim passes out and “woke up to find the offender on top of her engaged in intercourse” at Rashid’s residence in the 2900 block of Greenleaf Ave.
