Special Olympics Illinois Foundation to host first golf outting
On June 29 the Special Olympics Illinois Foundation will hold their first golf outing at Westmoreland Country Club in Wilmette.

On Monday, June 29, the Special Olympics Illinois Foundation will hold their first ever golf outing at Westmoreland Country Club located at 2601 Old Glenview Road in Wilmette, Illinois. The shotgun start is at 1pm, with registration starting at 10am and lunch at 11am. Included with your ticket price is lunch, time on the practice range, green fees, carts, forecaddies, on course refreshments and a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres. This event benefits the 22,000 Special Olympics athletes and 20,000 Young Athletes in Illinois.

The ILSO Foundation was set up as a 509(a)(3) supporting Foundation to support individuals with intellectual disabilities served by Special Olympics Illinois with an alternative revenue stream in perpetuity. The ILSO Foundation provides resources and an appropriate level of support for the organization for non-recurring budget items such as the USA and World Games, capital expenses and technology advancements.
