Storm Update: 1,312 Wilmette ComEd Customers Without Power
As of Tuesday evening, roughly 6000 outages had been restored in Wilmette.

The official number of outages in Wilmette is 1,312, according to an e-alert sent out Wednesday afternoon. Roughly 80 percent of the 7,242 outages from Monday's storm have been restored, according to village officials.
A conference call amongst 100 municipalities and ComEd representatives held earlier Wednesday revealed that a total of 186,000 customers are still without power, "including 18 hospitals and nursing homes, 19 police and fire stations, and approximately 50 wastewater treament and water pumping facilities," the alert said.

Meanwhile, "outages impacting small groups of homes or individual residences may still take several more days to resolve."
The village has also cautioned residents that restored power may again go out due to "tree branches falling on wires or required intentional outages by ComEd to facilitate their restoration efforts." Customers should continue to report all outages to ComEd via 1-800-Edison-1.

Following officials announced Tuesday evening that roughly 1,000 Wilmette ComEd customers are still without electricity.
According to the village's website, approximately 6,000 outages have been repaired. Meanwhile Wilmette "continues to work closely with ComEd to restore power as quickly as possible."
