Suicide Suspected in Death of Woman Found on Metra Tracks

The death of a 58-year-old woman whose body was found on a Metra platform in Kenilworth Friday is being investigated as a suicide.

The woman, who is not being identified other than that her most recent address was in Evanston, was found on the west platform of the Kenilworth Metra station around 6:40 p.m., according to the Wilmette Life. She was found by a pedestrian.

“Everything we’ve looked at indicates no foul play. We’re investigating it as a suicide,” said Kenilworth Police Chief David Miller.
