Sunday book talk: Walter Reed's "The Children of La Hille: Eluding Nazi Capture During WW II" on Sunday, Feb. 28th, 2 p.m.
Join us at the Wilmette Historical Museum, 609 Ridge Road to learn about the late Walter Reed's new book.

The book describes Reed’s own escape from Nazi, Germany, as well as the dramatic escapes and resources of 100 other Jewish boys and girls. Mr. Reed, a longtime Wilmette resident who had been looking forward to giving this program, died suddenly in January at the age of 91. At this very special event, his wife, Jeanne Reed, will talk about how her husband came to research and write his book chronicling this remarkable Holocaust story. This is a free program and copies of the book will be available for purchase. For more information visit www.wilmettehistory.org
