Sweet Time Cafe Opens in Northfield
Pair of sisters from Wilmette open sweet shop for members of the nearby business community.

Jane Zimbler and Sari Smith, a duo of sisters who grew up in Wilmette, have opened Sweet Time Cafe - a Northfield restaurant, bakery and catering business serving members of the nearby business community.
Located on Frontage Road between Willow and Tower roads in one of the Northfield Plaza buildings, the business began as Sweet Time Inc. as web-only, according to the Chicago Tribune. It served the sisters’ signature items, including “Creamy, Buttery Toffee,” “Decadent Fudgie Brownies,” “Melt In Your Mouth Butter Cookies” and Chocolate Chip Banana Breads.”
The sisters have actually been in business for the last decade as owners of Temp Time Inc., a Chicago-based temp agency.
