Teen Drinkers Nabbed During Wilmette Traffic Stop: Cops
A post-midnight stop on Lake Ave. found seven Glenview teens in the car, and all but one had been drinking according to police.
WILMETTE, IL - Six 17- and 18-year olds from Glenview were charged early Saturday morning with consumption of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop at Lake Ave. and Romona Rd. in Wilmette.
Police in Wilmette report a 17-year old driver was stopped for a minor traffic violation at 12:34 a.m. and was cited for it. The six passengers were all charged with consuming alcohol. No DUI arrest was made.
