Teens Found Drinking Alcohol in 'Suspicious' Vehicle

Five teenagers were caught drinking in a car last week in Wilmette.

According to a police report, officers were called to the 1200 block of 12th Street around 8:20 p.m. on October 29 for a reported “suspicious occupied auto.”

All five occupants were cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor after being given portable breath tests. Among those charged were two 18-year-olds from Wilmette, one 18-year-old from Winnetka, one 17-year-old from Wilmette and one 17-year-old from Winnetka.
