Unlocked Cars Entered On 2 Wilmette Streets In 1 Night
Multiple unlocked cars were entered and had items stolen from on Chestnut and Cherokee.

WILMETTE, IL - A serious of similar burglary to auto reports were made on two streets in Wilmette last Thursday night. Police said it was four unlocked cars that were broken into between 8 p.m. on Dec. 14 and the next morning.
Two of the incidents were reported in the 2000 block of Chestnut. Two others were in the 1000 block of Cherokee. Wallets, identification cards, bracelets, earrings and CDs were among he items taken from the cars.
