Village Names 'Housing Our Own Wilmette' Board Directors

Nine people have been appointed to the village of Wilmette’s Housing Our Own Wilmette board of directors.

According to the Wilmette Life, Village President Bob Bielinski named Joan Criswell, Jolie Horen, Michael Murdock, Walter Reed, Mike Braiman, Cameron Krueger, Nancy Canafax, Lisa Finks and John Thomason to the board last week.

Criswell was asked to be president of the board.

“I felt it was important to be a part of maintaining that, so members of our community who need assistance can continue to benefit from residence and the unique resources of our village,” she said.

The board’s first meeting could be held in September.
