Voter Turnout Reaches 45.7% in Wilmette

Cook County Clerk David Orr released final election results Wednesday.

and led to 45.7 percent voter turnout for Wilmette earlier this month, according to a statement from Cook County Clerk David Orr, who released the official final election results today.

A, the village saw the highest number of ballots cast in all of suburban Cook County, where overall turnout was 17 percent. Early voter turnout in r in 2011 than in 2009's local elections, in which 339 ballots were cast.

More than 2,100 candidates, 700 contests and 26 referenda appeared county wide on the April 5 ballot. Check out the total election results here.
