Wayfair Flagship Celebrates Anniversary With Deals And Entertainment

WILMETTE, IL — Wayfair's flagship store in Wilmette is celebrating its first anniversary this upcoming memorial weekend, offering deal and entertainment for community members.

During the celebration from May 24 to 26, customers can expect 70 percent off furniture site-wide, plus an extra 10 percent off in-store as well as family-friendly activities, including a magician, face painting, balloon twisters and a live DJ.

In just one year, the store has welcomed over 720,000 visitors, created more than 120 jobs and partnered with local organizations such as Connections for the Homeless. According to Wayfair, the Illinois store has a 15 percent higher growth rate compared to the national average.

"In just one year, it’s become both a key growth driver for the brand and a vibrant hub for the local community," Wayfair officials said in a statement.
