What Upgrades Do You Want For Community Playfields In Wilmette?
The Wilmette Park District wants to know what residents think about its property between Wilmette Junior High and Highcrest Middle School.

WILMETTE, IL — The Wilmette Park District issued a survey Tuesday soliciting opinions from residents about Community Playfields, the district's property located between Wilmette Junior High and Highcrest Middle School.
The survey asks for feedback about the current state of the park and suggestions for its future. Park district commissioners are considering improvements to the park as part of the village's storm water reservoir project.
Several potential improvements have been agreed to, in concept, via an intergovernmental agreement with the village of Wilmette.

They include a recreational fitness path around the park's perimeter, possibly with outdoor fitness equipment and low landscape lighting, bathrooms with running water and a new comprehensive landscape plan for the park.
Residents can share their recommendations and comments anonymously by taking park in the survey online.
