Wilmette Among Most Educated Small Cities in United States
Online resource ValuePenguin only finds three small towns smarter than Wilmette.

With a population of many who attended two of the best high schools in the state, a nationally renowned University just to its south and a solid local school district, it’s really no surprise to hear that Wilmette is one of the most educated small cities in the United States.
But ValuePenguin, an online data resource company, has made it official. Their recent study found Wilmette to be the fourth most educated “small city” in America.
Using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, ValuePenguin gauged the academic achievement of 3,000 cities, rewarding those with the highest percentage of post-high school degrees earned.
