Wilmette Couple Welcomes First Baby of Year at Evanston Hospital

Evelyn Mei Schwulst, daughter of Steven and Emily Schwulst of Wilmette, was the first baby born at NorthShore Evanston Hospital in 2015.

Evelyn came into the world at 12:58 a.m. on January 1 weighing six pounds, seven ounces and 19 inches. She is the family’s second child, also being welcomed by an older brother who is two years old.

Both Mom and baby are doing well.
