Linden Ave. pair claims escrow funds were misused.

Wilmette homeowners Michael Novosel and Nancy Fendley have filed a lawsuit against Greater Metropolitan Title over an escrow dispute.
Filed April 22 in Cook County Circuit Court, the complaint states the two residents of the 600 block of Linden Ave. entered into an agreement with contractor Icon Design and Development to build their home and that Icon was disbursed funds held in trust by the defendant that were to be given to subcontractors, according to the Cook County Record.
The plaintiffs cite breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and professional negligence.
