Mary Alice Brady, of Wilmette, died May 28. She was born in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin on August 19, 1929 to Walter and Lauretta Nohelty. Mary is survived by her brother, Walter (Bette), son-in-law, John Warner and, granddaughter Lindsay (Jake) Boettcher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Brady (retired Chief, Wilmette Fire Dept.) and her daughter, Ellyn Warner. She received her degree from Northwestern University in 1951 and was a teacher in the Avoca School, Wilmette for more than four decades. Mary was a lifelong Cubs fan and ardent follower of Notre Dame.
Visitation Tuesday, June 2, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd. at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie, IL 60077. Funeral Mass Wednesday, June 3, 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 1747 Lake Ave., Wilmette, IL 60091.
Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
