Joining us from Midlothian Park District where he served as the Athletics and Fitness Supervisor, Kevin gained prior experience in roles at both DeKalb and Sycamore Park Districts, as well as his education at Northern Illinois University where he obtained his B.S. degree in Health and Human Sciences and M.S. degree in Sport Management. “My attraction to this position was the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and a new challenge,” said Kevin. Because the position is brand new, it’s the perfect opportunity for him to develop and cultivate the role along with his own professional experience. “It’s a new position and it allows my innovation to be on full display,” he commented.
Kevin’s first goal is to consolidate the Customer Service Representative teams into one unified entity. “I would like to enhance the patron experience by providing as much information as possible at any desk in the building,” he said. By unifying the front-line staff, information will be more accessible and representatives will feel connected and empowered.

“The Wilmette community is beautiful,” Kevin explained, “and from the first communication I had with the park district, I knew this was a positive and family-oriented environment that fit me.” Being born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago, he is excited for the opportunity to relocate to a northern part of Cook County.
When he isn’t hard at work, Kevin enjoys fitness, sports, music and spending time with loved ones. We wish him a warm welcome to the Community Recreation Center and the Wilmette Park District.
