WILMETTE, IL — The first day of classes for students in Wilmette Public Schools is Aug. 28 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The District 39 board has released its full 2019-20 calendar, which is available online in printable form.

The calendar includes important dates, such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences. The district does not Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Lincoln's Birthday or Casimir Pulaski Day. The final day of the year, if no emergency make-up days are required, is scheduled for June 11, 2020.
