Beth Hillel Congregation Bnai Emunah received a replica of a plaque at Arlington National Cemetery.

in Wilmette recently became the recipient of an award presented to Rabbi Allan Kensky for his work with Jewish war veterans. The plaque, a painting on canvas is a replica of one installed on Oct. 24 at Arlington National Cemetery. Prior to this, there was no mention of Jewish clergy that died in the line of duty during World War II and the Vietnam War. The text on the plaque lists the names of 14 rabbis who were chaplains in the armed forces and perished while in service to our country.
