Wilmette's 2012 Proposed Budget Available for Viewing

A public budget workshop will be hosted Thursday at 7 p.m.

Residents can now access 's proposed 2012 budget online, according to an e-alert issued by the village Monday.

Earlier:

"The budget projects a 3.69 percent property tax increase -- the smallest percentage increase since 1999. The components of the 3.69 percent increase are," the alert states.

Meanwhile Village Manager Tim Frenzer has released a transmittal letter to accompany the potential budget's release.

Officials will host a public forum on the budget Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. on the second floor of Village Hall.
