Woman Stole Boots From Carson's: Cops

The Chicago woman was also given a ticket for possessing cannabis.

A Chicago woman faces a retail theft charge after allegedly stealing two pairs of boots valued at $227 from the Carson Pirie Scott store at 3200 Lake Ave. in Wilmette.

Police responded to the store at 3:58 p.m. on October 11 to find Christina Tharrington, 29 detained by a loss prevention officer. Tharrington was also allegedly found to be in possession of cannabis.
