WINNETKA, IL — Students at New Trier High School's Northfield Freshman Campus now have a new dining option during the school day.
The Trevian Coffee Bar is open on campus, with Quest Food Management Services introducing the cafe this fall as a convenient, made-to-order option for students.
The new concept includes crafted coffee and tea drinks, smoothies, fresh salads and bowls, sandwiches, wraps, flatbreads and breakfast items. Students can customize beverages with flavored syrups, milk alternatives and cold foam, and both hot and iced drinks are available.
"The Trevian Coffee Bar is a great addition to the Northfield campus because it gives students a fresh, modern dining option with the variety and flexibility they're looking for," Quest District Manager Tim Almy said. "With a versatile menu that has everything from lattes and acai bowls to flatbreads and sandwiches, there are options for students at any point in their day."
The made-to-order menu includes caprese, BBQ chicken and pepperoni flatbreads. Wrap options include sweet or spicy Thai chili, buffalo ranch chicken and crispy chicken caesar, while sandwich choices include turkey avocado club and caprese panini.
Fresh menu items and grab-and-go choices are also available at the cafe. Those options include yogurt parfaits, fruit cups, muffins, sandwiches, salads and snack boxes, bringing what the announcement describes as a cafe-style experience into the school environment.
The opening also coincides with Quest's recent partnership with BLK & Bold Specialty Coffee. The brand is known for Fair Trade-certified coffee and ethically sourced, micro-roasted beans, and it pledges 5% of gross profits to nonprofits that support young people across the country, including Chicago-based Youth Guidance and Urban Growers Collective.
"What stood out to us about BLK & Bold is that they pair exceptional coffee with a genuine commitment to making a positive impact," Quest Food Management Services CEO Nick Saccaro said. "We're proud to offer a product that reflects the quality our guests expect and the purpose-driven partnerships we value."
