1 Killed In Woodridge Crash That Damaged Tornado Siren
A Monday morning crash near Woodward Avenue and Peters Drive claimed the like of an adult man.

WOODRIDGE, IL -- A Monday morning crash near Woodward Avenue and Peters Drive in Woodridge claimed the life of an adult man, police in the village confirmed Monday afternoon. The identity of the victim killed in a crash that also knocked down a tornado siren was not released as of 5 p.m.
Woodridge police said the man was found in critical condition when they were called to the scene at 7:52 a.m. He was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.
There were no passengers in the man's vehicle and no other vehicles involved in the crash, police said.

Village officials in Woodridge said they were working on initial steps to repair the tornado siren.
