$1,000 Reward Offered in Westmont Sexual Assault Investigation
The suspect was last seen in Woodridge, in the area of 83rd Street and Janes Avenue.

A senior citizen in Westmont was sexually assaulted by a home invader Jan. 1, and Westmont police are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
The home invader woke the woman up around 5 a.m. inside her home in the 1100 block of South Williams Street, according to Westmont police. The man had a gun, and he forced the woman to drive him to an ATM to get cash out of her bank account.
The woman dropped the man off in Woodridge, in the area of 83rd Street and Janes Avenue. The woman was brought to a hospital, and she is recovering from injuries, according to police.

The suspect is described as a man between 20 and 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, stocky build, wearing a dark jacked that may have been leather, according to police. He was armed with a handgun.
