$12K In Jewelry Stolen From Home In Westmont

Police say there were no signs of forced entry to the home.

WESTMONT, IL --- Westmont police are investigating an incident in which $12,000 in jewelry was stolen from a home. The burglary took place on Oct. 30 in the 200 block of Kacie Court, according to a police report.

The victim told police that they left their home around 9:30 a.m. and returned around 3:15 p.m. At some point during that time, someone entered the home and took multiple items of jewelry that were valued at a total of $12,000.

Police say there were no signs of forced entry to the home.
