- Between $20,000 and $29,999: 5
District 68's average teacher salary is $68,524, with its average teacher having 12.5 years of experience, according to the Illinois State Board of Education. That's slightly higher than Darien School Distrist 61, with has an average teacher salary of $61,618 and 10.7 years of experience.
