3 A.M. Home Invader Caught Coming In Through Window Feet-First: Woodridge Police

Jose Hernandez, 29, of the 2400 block of Forest Drive, was charged with criminal trespassing to a residence in the 7600 block of Deerfield.

WOODRIDGE, IL — A Woodridge resident who was awakened by a noise found a man trying to enter their home feet-first through a window early Monday morning. Woodridge Police arrived at the scene in the 7600 block of Deerfield Avenue and arrested Jose Hernandez, 29, of the 2400 block of Forest Drive at approximately 3:22 a.m.

According to police, the resident was able to detain Hernandez until law enforcement got to the residence. Police were able to take Hernandez into custody without incident. He is currently being held at the DuPage County Jail on charges of criminal damage to property an felony criminal trespass to a residence.
