57th Annual Used Book Sale

Raise Money for Scholarships by Attending the 57th Annual Downers Grove Area AAUW Used Book Sale

Raise Money for Scholarships by Attending the 57th Annual DG Area AAUW Used Book Sale

The DGAAUW Annual Used Book Sale will take place on June 19-21 at the Henry Puffer School. For 57 years, members of the American Association of University Women who live in Downers Grove and the surrounding suburbs have collected and sold used books to raise money for educational initiatives and scholarships. Our Back-to-the-Books scholarships are awarded every year to students who are returning to school.

Attending the book sale is not only a great way to help deserving students; it’s a great way to fill your shelves with recycled books. This year we have collected nearly 30,000 paperback, hardcover and curio books. These books cover many genres including mystery, literature, history, sports, romance, and science fiction. Our curio section has more valuable and newer books, some of which are signed by the authors.
