Addison Man, 27, Killed In Fatal Crash In Woodridge: Police

Police say high speed and alcohol may have been a factor in the fatal crash.

WOODRIDGE, IL --- A 27-year-old man is dead after a collision that took place in Woodridge Monday afternoon. The three-car crash claimed the life of Zachary Perry, 27, of Addison, and left another driver, Pablo Perez, 30, of Berwyn hospitalized. Police say Perez was later charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to a news release from the Woodridge Police Department, the crash took place around 4 p.m. near the intersection of Davey and Joliet Roads. The collision, which is still under investigation, reportedly involved a light-duty box truck and two other cars.

Police were assisted by the Felony Investigative Assistance Team (FIAT), Illinois State Police, and police from Bolingbrook and Romeoville, in their investigation of the crash.
