For the first time in his life, John Kujawa experienced the thrill of recording that rarest of golfing feats…a Hole-n-One.
John made his ace on hole 17 at the Village Greens of Woodridge on Saturday, May 26th. Using his trusty 7-iron, he struck the perfect shot and watched it roll into the cup on the 168 yard par 3. Making the experience even more memorable was the fact that several of his long-time golfing buddies, who all play together in their permanent tee time every Saturday morning, witnessed the shot.
John’s ace was the 5th recorded at Village Greens of Woodridge in the 2012 golf season, and the second on hole #17. Golfers also have a chance to win $1000 each time they play for an ace on hole #4 when they participate in the CHARITEE Challenge. For only $3, golfers can participate and receive a complimentary beverage, plus a chance to win a $20 gift card or $1000 cash. A portion of all proceeds goes to charity. June’s designated charity is the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
