Art Historian To Discuss Rodin's Life And Works In Woodridge
The lecture celebrates the renowned sculpture on the centennial of his death.

WOODRDGE, IL — Residents can learn about the history and works of renowned sculptor Auguste Rodin at a special lecture at Woodridge Public Library. Led by art historian Jeff Mishur, the event will celebrate the centennial of Rodin's death with an in-depth look at some of his best-known works on Wednesday, February 28.
Mishur will share facts about The Thinker, The Kiss, and other famous pieces by Rodin. The information about Rodin's artwork will be interspersed with stories about the sculptor's life and career.
The Rodin lecture coincides with "Rodin: Sculptor and Storyteller," an exhibit that is open at the Art Institute of Chicago through March 4.
