Marching Mustangs Take 6th in Season Opener

The DGS Marching Mustangs opened their competition season at the Lake Park Lancer Joust this past Saturday, Sept. 10. 

Their debut performance of this year's show, 2011 River Visions, was a great success.  The band placed third in their class of 13 in the preliminary round, where they also tied for the award of Best Visual Effect. 

The band advanced to Finals Competition for the top 10 bands, where they were awarded sixth place.
