Golf - For the Young, and Young at Heart
Exercise, family, friends, business, competition...just some of the reasons to check out the game of golf and get you and your family involved in 2013.

When you visit the golf course or driving range at Village Greens, you're equally likely to see a 3 year old or a 93 year old trying to send a little white ball hurling through space.
Golf is that rarest of sports that welcomes the old and young, male and female, athletes and self-described couch potatoes. It's non-discriminatory, regardless of demographics or motivations. We play with friends and meet new ones along the way. We see families spending quality time together and people escaping the stress of everyday life. Some like to compete and some like the solitude of the driving range late in the evening. Regardless of why we play, we all derive some benefits from the game of golf: friendship, family, exercise, business contacts, enjoying nature, and so on...
In 2013, the PGA of America is marketing several initiatives to introduce people to the game of golf or to increase their enjoyment of the game. Programs such as Get Golf Ready, PGA Family Golf Month, and PGA Junior Golf League are designed to get everyone active and having fun this year on the course. If you would like more information, or to register for one of these exciting programs, please contact a local PGA Golf Professional or your local golf course. We hope to see you on the course in 2013!
