Tomorrow is election day. Over the course of this campaign, I have knocked on more than 1,000 doors and spoken to hundreds of residents. (I don't do automated calls, I personally cannot stand them) All residents really want the same thing. They want safe neighborhoods, good police protection, well maintained roads, and a government that lives within its means.
I am asking for your vote because I believe that I am the best candidate for Mayor. My 2 years as Village Trustee have given me the knowledge and experience of what changes can and should be made in village government. Woodridge has a $40 million dollar budget. I believe that no one can be an effective Mayor when he or she has no experience at all in village government. The learning curve is too steep.
Nor should you cast your ballot on experience alone. It depends what the person has done in office. Has the person consistently voted to raise taxes, like one of the other candidates in the race? Or has the trustee voted against property tax increase like I have.

I believe I am the best candidate because I have learned and worked with the budget for the last 2 years, have a record of fighting for the taxpayer by voting against real estate tax increases, and always look for ways to lower government spending without affecting core services.
I am honored to be endorsed by Vice-Chaiman of the County Board, and former Woodridge trustee, John Curran and State Senator Mike Connelly. I am especially gratified to be endorsed by 2 of my colleagues on the board, trustees Dave Pittinger and Joe Kagann.
