Having this forum to share my ideas with residents is a positive thing. It lets you hear from me on issues and ask questions of me regarding my positions to which I can respond. It is my plan and sincere hope that the race for Mayor in Woodridge stays focused on the issues without petty politics getting involved; there is enough of that that goes on in Springfield and Washington.
As a community we should rise above that. We are a strong community here in Woodridge. We are friends and neighbors, and open political discussion and debate should not interfere with that. Pointing fingers and baseless accusations get us nowhere.
I would urge everyone, no matter who you support, to be respectful in any forum you choose to make comments or ask questions. There are legitimate questions being asked, and they deserve answers from those of us running. Let’s not cloud the issues with unnecessary distractions.

If I have questions of my opponents, I’ll ask them directly. And I’ll answer directly those asked of me. That’s what a leader does. And that’s why I am the best candidate for Mayor of Woodridge. Thank you for your support.
