Tip of the week: 4 minute workouts can get you fit!
Find out how to get fit in just 4 minutes!
If you are working out for 1 to 2 hours every day, you are probably spending more time at the gym than you need to.
Dr. Izumi Tabata discovered that high intensity interval training proved to be more efficient than aerobic training. The workout includes pushing yourself hard for 20 seconds, resting for 10 seconds and repeating that cycle 7 times.
You can use this method when doing cardio on a treadmill or elliptical machine or when doing any type of weight exercise like push ups or squats. It can improve both aerobic as well as anaerobic capacity, and the best part is that you only have to spend 4 minutes working out! No more excuses for not having time...who doesn’t have 4 minutes to spare?! You should always consult a qualified practitioner when changing your exercise routine.
