Bronze Statue on Temporary Display at New Woodridge Police Station
Village Board asked to consider a permanent outside display location
Fundraiser money raised from last years 2023 Rotary Holiday Gala was used to purchase a bronze statue for VFW Post 1578. This statue is temporarily displayed at the new Woodridge Police Department. Representatives from various Village organizations gathered at the Village Hall to discuss a more permanent location for the statue. Suggestions were made that the permanent site for the statue would rest should include an area that has ample parking and high visibility. It was suggested that the Village Board will discuss this matter and give their recommendations.
