Charges Filed Against Woodridge Man In Fatal I-290 Crash: Report

WOODRIDGE, IL — A Woodridge man faces felony charges in connection with a fatal crash on I-290 that claimed the life of a 14-year-old in July, Daily Herald reports.
Omar Abdul Raoof, 27, was taken into custody Friday and charged with aggravated driving under the influence involving death.
Police say Raoof was driving westbound on I-290 near Kedzie when he hit crashed into the rear-end of a white Buick. The crash injured a 12-year-old child and a 19-year-old woman, along with the 14-year-old, who died of injuries two days later.

The driver of the Buick, Amando Flores, was also hurt in the fatal I-290 crash and was later charged with endangering the life of a child and driving under the influence.
