WOODRIDGE, IL — Woodridge residents who want to get into the swing of spring cleaning can take advantage of the village's annual Books and Electronics Recycling drive. The event will take place Saturday at Christ the Servant Church.
Staffers will accept gently used books and electronic items from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Large appliances and chemical waste will not be accepted, according to the village of Woodridge website.
Recycled books will be donated to SCARCE, a non-profit that uses educational events and tools to help foster a sustainable environment.
