Community Clean Up the Parks Day Volunteers Collected 2,200 Gallons of Trash and 240 Gallons of Recyclables
225 people attended the Woodridge Park District's annual spring clean-up event.
225 people attended Woodridge Park District’s annual Community Clean Up the Parks Day on Saturday, April 9. Volunteers cleaned 15 park sites, collected 40 55-gallon trash bags and eight 30-gallon recycling bags. A few miscellaneous items were also found and removed during the event including a stove in the Orchard Hill Park natural area, a water heater at Ides East Park & bed springs from Westminster Park. Thank you to all the volunteers who participated in this year’s clean up event!
