District 58 Invites Families to Annual Fit Fair on March 26

The school will transform into a hub for healthy family activities.

District 58’s family-favorite Fit Fair event will return to O’Neill Middle School, 635 59th St., on Thursday, March 26 from 6-8 p.m.

The school will transform into a hub for healthy family activities: yoga, line dancing and hip hop demonstrations in the big gym; pilates and martial arts in the small gym; DDR and a heart challenge in the cafeteria; nutritious food samples and health screenings sprinkled among all three. Best yet, this fun event is free to all District 58 families!

“There are so many little ways to add more fitness and nutrition into your family’s lifestyle,” said Mary French, physical education teacher and event organizer. “The Fit Fair offers families many opportunities right here in our own town, for the whole family to be fit and healthy!”

The event will feature information booths from local health-related businesses and a raffle with fantastic prizes, including gift certificates for personal training, a one-hour massage and a martial arts birthday party.
