Donate To Diaper Drive To Help Families In Need In Woodridge, Downers

The Community Diaper Drive, facilitated by Rep. Anne Stava-Murray, kicked off Monday, and will continue into Saturday.

WOODRIDGE, IL — A week-long Community Diaper Drive to benefit residents in need will continue into Saturday in Woodridge. Organized by Rep. Anne Stava-Murray, the drive wraps up National Diaper Awareness Week, which sheds light on how some families struggle to afford diapers.

“Nationally, one out of three families with small children struggles to afford diapers, and families in Illinois as well as our community are no exception,” Stava-Murray said in a statement. “Something like diapers can often seem small. But to those who live with a feeling of anxiety every time their baby needs a change, it’s a real problem. Let’s take this opportunity to do something about it.”

Residents are encouraged to drop off all sizes of unopened diaper packages, along with baby wipes at the following locations:
