Downers Grove Coat Drive Collecting Gently Used Coats and Winter Accessories

The Village of Downers Grove is collecting clean, gently used coats and winter accessories for those in need until Jan. 16, 2015.

Bring items to the drop boxes in the Village Hall lobby (801 Burlington Ave.), the Downers Grove Police Station lobby (825 Burlington Ave.) or the Public Works lobby (5101 Walnut Ave.), according to the village website.

Donations will go to Sharing Connections.

“The coat drive is organized by the VOICE Committee, a voluntary group of Village employees with the goal of supporting humanitarian efforts in the organization and the Downers Grove community,” according to the village website.
