Downers Grove, Hinsdale, Darien, Burr Ridge and Woodridge Schools Closed Wednesday

Update: Hinsdale Township District 86 schools, Hinsdale Central in Hinsdale and Hinsdale South in Darien, will also be closed Jan. 7.

As temperatures plummet and the wind picks up, area schools are announcing plans to close Wednesday, Jan. 7. Here’s what’s closed so far as of Tuesday evening. We’ll update the list as more information becomes available. Did we miss news on your child’s school?

A few schools have specifically announced that they will be open, including Little Friends Bridge High School in Downers Grove.
