Downers Grove Library to Give Fine Reductions for Food Donations
The Food for Fines drive takes place March 14 to 22.

The Downers Grove Public Library is gearing up for its annual Food for Fines drive, in which donations can help relieve overdue book fees.
The library will reduce fines by $1 for each non-perishable item that is brought in from March 14 to 22, according to a library news release.
Food will go to the West Suburban Community Pantry, and the library is hoping to surpass the 500 pounds of food collected during the 2013 Food for Fines drive.
