As part of our Summer Reading Club League of Superheroes and National Gardening Week, we’re focusing on the superhero of the garden: the Dahlia. The American Dahlia Society is calling to arms the SuperDahlia leaders: Spartacus, Trooper Dan, Sky Angel, Prince Valiant, Robin Hood, and Princess Paige among others. Learn how to include these brilliantly colored and broadly shaped flowers in your home garden. Co-hosted by the Garden Club of Downers Grove. Snacks and raffle prizes provided.
