To schedule your appointment in advance (recommended), call LifeSource at (877) 543-3768 or go towww.lifesource.org and use code 184G. Walk-ins are also welcome. Blood donations include a free cholesterol screening and blood typing. Blood donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh more than 110 pounds, and be in general good health. Cancer, diabetes, and tattoo rules have been updated so you may be newly eligible. There is no upper age limit and most medications are accepted.
Food for FinesSat., Mar. 14 - Sun., Mar. 22Donate food for the West Suburban Community Pantry and we’ll reduce your late fees. One item equals $1.00 off your fines. Bring non-perishable items (soup, peanut butter, canned meats, pasta, sauce, etc.) to the Circulation Desk. Expired items will not be accepted. Let’s try to top the 500 pounds of food we collected in 2013!
