Downtown Downers Grove Ice Festival: Once Upon a Time

The Ice Festival takes place Feb. 6 to 8 along the streets of Downtown Downers Grove.

Get out of the house for a weekend of fun, shopping and dining for all ages! The Annual Downtown Downers Grove Ice Festival: Once Upon a Time is here, February 6-8, 2015!

Enjoy more than 40 pre-carved Once Upon A Time inspired ice sculptures that will line the streets of Downtown Downers Grove. Keep your eye out for Humpty Dumpty, the Hungry Hungry Caterpillar, a Wizard Dog and an Old Woman in a Shoe to name a few. Don’t worry the ever so popular kissing booth will be back in front of Rocco and Rocco on Main Street.

You will have the opportunity to watch carvers demonstrate their art in person all weekend. The first live carving demonstration will be Friday evening under the lights at 5:30pm on the South East Corner of Main and Curtiss. The fun will continue on Saturday and Sunday with live ice carving demonstrations from 11am-3pm, a Ronald McDonald Magic Show, Pancake Breakfast at First Congregational Church, DG Library Free Teen Film Screening at Tivoli Theatre, & shopping and dining specials throughout the downtown.
